Mission: Work to create legal and business environment in Russia in which trademarks are fully understood and protected for the benefit of the society.
Objectives
- Make RusBrand an opinion leader and an industry leader on questions/issues of Trademark Protection in Russia
- Facilitate adoption of changes in the Russian legislation
- Become a brand protection facilitator
Projects
- Quarterly press briefings on issues related to trademark protection
- Prepare drafts for legislation proposals
- Organize seminars for law enforcement state agencies
- Information support for RusBrand members
Media and Advertising Committee
Mission: Provide forum for media and marketing professionals to jointly solve the key issues of the branded goods industry.
Objectives
- Make advertising market more transparent and thus more competitive and better regulated
- Raise market awareness on key media planning and implementation issues
- Promote international advertising standards
Projects
- Initiate and carry out a series of educational workshop aiming at improving media skills among market players
- Get RusBrand as strong and trusted dialog partner to media counterparts
- Establish working group to get better understanding on advertising market development
Communication and Consumer Relationship Committee
Mission: Establish RusBrand as the first-choice counterpart in a constructive dialog with all parties on the issues related to consumer goods industry. RusBrand is intended to play a key role in the communication with counterparts to build a functioning market economy for the benefit of all.
Objectives
- Create a regular flow of factual information to policy-makers, regulators, opinion leaders and the media
- Open up a constant and consistent dialog with consumer organizations
- Educate opinion leaders on the role and characteristics of brands
Projects
- Organize special events to promote brand concept, including annual Brand Day Conference
- Regular publications on the brand industry issues
